ACTIVITIES
Distance = Rate x Time
In this activity, we will focus on different methods and tools to determine the distance and speeds that the drones fly. This will also allow us to answer questions about the limits of our flying space which will help us later.
Younger students may use the drone as a tool to meet measuring standards by flying the drone a certain distance, landing it and measuring the distance that it has flown with various tools.
Older students may actually plot the data and determine as well as the proportional relationship between distance and time.
