WI-FI OVER-THE-AIR (OTA) UPDATE
Fly Hopper
Once Hopper is connected to a device through the FTW FLY app, it is necessary to perform a Wi-Fi OTA update from the FTW FLY app to Hopper. This will enhance Hopper’s camera capability which will offer increased mission capabilities.
Steps to Perform Wi-Fi Over-the-Air (OTA) Update:
In the FTW Fly app, click the settings icon.
Click Update Firmware.
Click Hopper.
Click Update Wi-fi.
Remove and reinstall Hopper’s battery, then click NEXT.
From your device, connect to Hopper’s Wi-fi.
Verify that your device is connected to Hopper’s Wi-fi, then click I AM CONNECTED.
Click START and keep Hopper close to your device.
Once the first part of the OTA update is complete, remove and reinstall Hopper’s battery, then click Done.
Verify that your device is still connected to Hopper’s Wi-fi, then click I AM CONNECTED and keep Hopper close to your device.
The update is now complete so remove and reinstall Hopper’s battery, then click DONE.
